The Sunday Post
After a hectic few weeks I have finally broken up for the Easter holidays, however looking outside it couldn't look less like Spring. I expected picnics, beach walks, light lunches and fruit salads. But I am getting by with big brunches, flavoured tea and weekly cinema trips. It feels good to actually get to see all the films that I normally never really get round too. 'Stoker' and 'Side Effects' have been my most recent favourites. Rooney Mara and Nicole Kidman are beautifully captivating.
Make-up and fashion wise I have currently been living in my River Island disco pants dupes with slouchy tops or sheer shirts. I have been wearing my Mac Speed Dial lipstick much more recently with the typical cat eyeliner flick.

Mac Lipstick Snob
I am in two minds about this colour of lipstick but thought I would do a little post on it anyway. I bought Mac Snob on a bit of a whim. I wanted a nice pale lipstick as I don't like wearing dark lipstick if I'm wearing quite a lot of eye make-up.
Snob I would say is a pale pink with a bit of lilic tones in it. As usual Snob keeps up the amazing standard of Mac lipstick it is long lasting and doesn't dry out my lips at all. However I would pick it up as nice pale neutral colour. It is still quite a bold colour but is a very pretty one.

Mac- Odd Couple Eyeshadow
I absolutely love Mac eyeshadows, and the shade Odd Couple is no exception. I bought it from Bicester Village at the Make-up Company outlet for under ten pounds! I really like the two shades, they look lovely on their own and together.
My favourite is the metallic shade which is a mixture taupe, bronze, gold and lilic. The purple is also nice and striking, and has a very slight shimmer to it.
My favourite thing about Macs Odd Couple is the texture and how it lasts for a long time. The colours aren't as intense as I thought it would be but still applies well.

Mac Lipstick So Chaud
I have been after an orange lipstick for quite a while. I tend to wear more pink or berry toned lipsticks. But my lovely friend Emma got me Macs So Chaud lipstick for my birthday. I love Mac lipstick I really do think they are one of the best brands for a good quality lipstick.
So Chaud is a bright matte orange colour with good lasting power too! It is more of a orange toned red which I love, as I have also always loved the idea of wearing red lipstick but it just doesn't look right on me. So this lipstick is the best of both worlds for me, and orangey red lipstick but not actually red or neon orange.
It is quite a summery colour but I love wearing this Mac lipstick with darker more winter outfits. Such as a grey jumper and black jeans to add a pop of colour to a simple outfit.

Mac- Quartz Fusion Eyeshadow
I have read mixed reviews about Macs Quartz Fusion eye shadow, but I was just instantly drawn to its lovely pink rose gold marble effect. Plus, I bought it from the Make-up Company outlet at Bicester Village so was cheaper then it originally retailed for.
I love the Quartz Fusion colour I think it is so pretty, however it is very light and powdery when I applied it but easy to build up a nice colour. The glitter to it is also really lovely.
