The Christmas Post

Firstly I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas full with lots of laughter and love. I spent the morning at my boyfriends house after a late night at the pub then went back to my family home to open presents and go for a walk in the forest followed by a massive dinner. I then watched the not so critically acclaimed film Johnny English Reborn whilst eating leftovers with potato salad.

I asked Santa Clause for a jewellery box and Urban Decays Naked Palette and Estee Lauders Intense Night Repair. I also got a poster that I received for free from Chanel's Little Black Jacket exhibition framed for me. Lucky for me he was feeling generous and also got me a gorgeous digital radio and lots of Lush and Soap and Glory goodies. My boyfriend bought me a build a bear, Ciate nail caviar set and a ted baker make up set amongst other cute little things from Urban Outfitters. I love receiving books for Christmas and this year got Cheryl Coles biography ( I come from a family of Geordies so its in the blood to love Cheryl and And and Dec) I also received a copy of Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

Here are a few snapshots of what Santa got me...

Lush- Mint Julips Lip Scrub

I bought the original lush lip scrub a few years ago and used it now and again, I then re discovered the pot but by that time it had gone all hard and unusable. Apparently you can add olive oil to soften it but then it would taste a bit icky. So I chose to buy a new one, and opted for the Mint Julips scrub that I got from the Lush store on Kings Road London for £5.25.

The Lush lip scrub is basically an exfoliater  for your lips. It is brilliant for people who suffer from dry cracked lips. I pat the mixture onto my lips then just smack and rub then together till its all gone. AS it contains caster sugar and is mint chocolate chip flavour it tastes amazing and the mint makes your breath smell all fresh and lovely. Lush lip scrubs are perfect to prep them for lipstick. After applying the  scrub I apply my Body Shop vitamin E lip balm and then a lipstick.

Lush also does different lip scrub flavours they do a Bubblegum flavour and a Sweetlips one. I now use   Mint Julips lip scrub as part of my daily routine so I will be repurchasing it for sure.
