Valentines, Spring Fashion And Uni Update

Once again uni work load has gotten the better of me and blogging has been seriously lacking. I made a  New Years resolution that this time round I will throughly research and plan essays and projects and not leave them to last minute, but get cracking as soon as they are set. So far i'm doing alright. But that does mean that my social life has been swapped with staying in writing essays and articles whilst watching the Lost box set and stuffing with my face with snacks (currently loving ham, coleslaw and crackers.)

It was also valentines not that long ago and I just couldn't not mention it as my boyfriend bought me a Alexander McQueen coin purse with a little razor blade on the front of it. Along with pink lilies that were just gorgeous.

I am currently loving all the fashion magazines spring issues, the prettiest fashion season by far. Grazia magazine has really come up trumps with their bonus bumper issue. Glamours issue is also lovely and worth checking out.

21st Birthday Celebrations

A while back it was my boyfriends birthday and to celebrate we all went for a meal at The Kings in Christchurch and stayed in the hotel for the night. The food and room were gorgeous, it really was a perfect day. For the meal I wore a navy dress from Boohoo.com with cut out shoulders and my Alexander McQueen scarf. Make-up was kept minimal with a slight smokey eye.

Outfit Inspiration

Slightly different post to usual but with my new addiction to pinterest I have been lusting after so many things. So I have decided to create a few little outfit inspiration posts of just things I like really. This first one is the right mixture of casual but with statement accessories to keep it smart and unique. I am desperate to get my hands on leather pants but I live in fear of pulling "a Ross from friends." and getting stuck in them. McQueen and Westwood and my two favourite designers so they just had to be included. I like outfits to have a slight clash to them but not in an outlandish way, so using shoes to clash against your outfit is a nice way to try out the trend. I think the pastel metallic sandals add a summery spirit to the look....

Birthday Presents Haul

Sorry I've been a bit absent on blogger for while but I managed to misplace my camera lead. Plus I have been very busy with my birthday and started a new Summer job and the sun has finally come out so I have made sure I made the most of the amazing weather.

Anyway, I love hearing what people get up too on there birthdays. I especially love seeing what people got. I used to love it when I was little and at parties we all had to sit around an watch the birthday boy or girl open up all their presents. So I thought I would do a little post on what I got for my 19th.

It was 19th birthday a few weekends ago and I went for a meal with my family my boyfriend at the really pretty hotel Chewton Glenn. I also went for a pub lunch with my closest friends the following day.

I was very spoilt by my friends and family and am am so happy with and grateful for all my gifts :) Here are a few photos of some of the presents I received.

I got this Alexander McQueen skull bracelet from my family and then some Topshop bracelets from some friends and my Grandparents.

I also got a bag and matching purse from my boyfriend that he bought from Stylist Pick. My Grandparents also got me a make-up bag from Topshop.

My boyfriend got me this ISWAI ring/bracelet that was designed by Caggie Dunlop from Made In Chelsea. His family bought me the Little Miss Prada mug.

I also got some other goodies such as bath bombs from Lush, lots of books, mini prada perfume and shower creme, a mini Bourjois make-up set and some tops from Sandro.
